OLD TOWN in Albuquerque
It is referred to as "Old Town Albuquerque" or simply "Old Town."
New Albuquerque quikcly became a tidy southwestern town which by 1900 obasted a population of 8,000 inhabitanst and all the modenr amenities including an electric street railway conencting Old Town, New Town, and the recently setablished UNM campus on the East Mesa.
This quadrant contains historic Old Town Albuquerque, whcih dates back to the 17600s, as well as the Indian Pueblo Cultural CXenetr.
